YOU WILL NEED A NOTEBOOK TO USE AS A SCIENCE JOURNAL FOR NOTES, BELL RINGERS, AND GENERAL SCIENCE INFORMATION.

This trimester's big topics are the following; Matter, elements, molecules, physical and chemical properties, physical and chemical changes, and energy in the form of waves.

The class will have classroom assignments, lab activities, quizzes, and topic test.  They have been given a pretest and will take a post test to hopefully show growth in the topic area of physical science.

7th graders are being asked to produce a Science Fair Project by January 25, 2012.  We are looking at the projects to show the knowledge, application, synthesis, and evaluation processes found in the scientific method.

About Me

I have been the Middle School and High School librarian for the last nine years. Before that I was a middle school science teacher. My latest favorite book is The Help. I am more of a science teacher and guided academic teacher this year and in the library in very limited time spans. I still enjoy books as my house has piles of to reads and have read!
