    • Dear Families,

Welcome to the New Buffalo Area Schools K-12 Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment page. We hope the information you find here assists you in supporting your child while s/he is learning important skills and concepts throughout the K-12 experience. The information provided is meant to outline some of the specific learning your student will be engaged in this year.

New Buffalo Area Schools aims to support students in becoming career and college ready by engaging them in learning opportunities.  We are dedicated to creating a teaching and learning environment that differentiates instructional strategies as we recognize that students learn in different ways and achievement is not measured in only one outcome, but a combination of experiences.  New Buffalo Area Schools provides the best teaching to bring about the highest level of learning and educational support.

NBAS is committed to preparing every student with the knowledge and strategies needed for a lifetime of successful learning and responsible global citizenship through its rigorous and relevant K-12 curriculum.   At NBAS our mission is to provide opportunities for students to achieve their personal best while creating a culture of learning and respect.
