Hello, my name is Dr. Michael Lindley, and I will be the Interim Superintendent for the 2022-2023 school year. I had the pleasure of serving New Buffalo Area Schools as superintendent for 18 years from 1991-2008. And it is great to be back! Since first retiring in 2008, I have since been an interim in Bridgman and Niles, served on the Board at BRESA and Lake Michigan College, and served as a consultant.

I received my Educational Doctorate in Education Administration with a cognate in curriculum and instruction from Ball State. I earned my masters and bachelor’s degree at Ball State in elementary education.

We have highly qualified people in all areas of our district serving the needs of our students and families. I look forward to a very productive and rewarding school year.
