Dear NBHS Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! As someone who deeply loves the New Buffalo community, I am honored and excited to step into the role of Principal at New Buffalo High School this year. While my role is new, my commitment to our district, our staff, and - most importantly - your students remains as strong as ever.

Please review the two attached documents to help your family prepare for the start of the school year:

NBHS Back-to-School Letter: Includes key dates (Back-to-School Night, first day schedule), drop-off procedures, and important updates regarding cell phones/backpacks, meal deliveries, and building safety.
Lifetouch Picture Day Flyer: Details regarding Picture Day, which takes place on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 8.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we begin another great school year together. I look forward to seeing everyone very soon!

The athletic field dedication ceremony today is being POSTPONED to Tuesday April 7 due to impending weather this afternoon. On April 7, we will have a short ceremony before the game with a couple of short speeches follow by youth activities in between the two contests. We will still plan on having the food truck available along with concessions on April 7. See you then!
