Friendly reminder that Thursday, March 6th and Friday, March 7th are 1/2 days for end of trimester 2 final exams.
Students officially completed their archery unit as of today! A huge thanks to Jesse Brewster for coming out and working with our students and helping Ms. Walter run the range. Students successfully worked their way through the "11 Steps to Archery Success". They learned how to score and engaged in some friendly competitions. A great time was had by all!

Today in foods and nutrition we made pizzas. Jayson and his dad Nathan, owner of Romas in New Buffalo, helped to supply the crust for our pizzas!!! Jayson also did a demonstration for the class on stretching the dough and answered additional pizza questions during class. The class had fun and the results were AMAZING!!! A big shout out to Jayson, his dad, Nathan, and Romas Pizza in New Buffalo!!!

NBHS SADD is participating in The Southwest Michigan Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics TOMORROW, Saturday, February 1st. The QR code for donations is attached to the flyer. Our donation goal is $500. Help our SADD group support the Special Olympics by plunging into your wallets to donate to a great cause!
"The annual Empty Bowls benefit dinner will be held on Tuesday, February 21st from 5-7:30 pm during home basketball games. This is sponsored by high school Student Senate, Mrs. Jager's Pottery Club, and Mrs. Bowen's Foods and Nutritions class. For a suggested $10 donation, you can receive a ceramic bowl made by a NBHS high school student, a meal of soup or chili with crackers, a beverage and a dessert. All proceeds support Blessings in a Backpack for our New Buffalo Elementary students. Please come support a great cause and receive some awesome pottery!"

Join New Buffalo High School students in a Free Workshop to learn how to throw bowls on the pottery wheel. All bowls will be donated to the Empty Bowls fundraiser.
