BASE Program: Today starts 2nd trimester enrichments! There are only 2 clubs that require a sign up, and those lists have already been made and those students have been notified. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.

Doors will open at 9:45 and school will begin at 10:20 today. Please be sure to send students with appropriate winter gear today! The lost and found is beginning to collect some items. If you are missing anything remind your students to check there. Labeling everything with names is super helpful for staff so we can return items we find.

Trunk or Treat Update: A portion of the pick-up/drop-off driveway will be closed during that time from 5:30-6:30.
For BASE pick-up, you can only enter through the bus parking lot, but you can still pull up to the BASE office, and exit as usual.

Halloween parties are coming soon! This Friday the fun will begin with the parade at 2:10. As long as the weather is good, the parade will take place outside. If it is raining, parents will gather in the gym to watch the parade. Students should not wear their costumes to school. They will have time to get dressed in the afternoon. I also want to clarify that students can wear masks with their costumes as long as they can see well through them. It is a safety concern if they cover the students face fully and they cannot see!
The parties will follow immediately around 2:30. If you have been asked by your child's teacher to set up for the party, you may come into the building to set up beginning at 1:45. All volunteers coming into the building for the party MUST have an updated background check! You cannot update it the day of the party. If you completed your secure volunteer background check last school year and just need to update it, you will need to email Devinnie Wysocki at dwysocki@nbas.org for renewal. If you are completing the volunteer background check for the first time, please visit here and complete this at least one week prior to the party or event you are volunteering for.
The Pre K Halloween party will be held in the morning. Parents may arrive to check in around 10:00. The party will be from 10:15-11:15. The preschoolers will not participate in the afternoon halloween parade.
We are excited to celebrate with everyone on Friday!
