A few reminders for this week's Take Your Pal to lunch day. Anyone attending MUST have completed or renewed your volunteer background check. If you have not renewed, please email dwysocki@nbas.org. If you are new to the district, you will visit the nbas.org site and click on volunteer to register. If you have not completed this, you will not be able to attend.

To check in you will come to door number 1. Lunches will be free to anyone that RSVP'd. We are looking forward to seeing you!

Tomorrow is Walk to School Day! Beginning at 7:45 am, students can be dropped off at the corner of Detroit and Eagle Street to walk to school. Parents are also welcome to walk with their students. There will be staff and police stationed at each corner to greet students along the way. Buses will be dropping Kindergarten–5th grade students off to walk.

We are excited to celebrate this healthy and fun tradition together and can’t wait to see our Bison starting the day with exercise, smiles, and school spirit!

Dear NBES Families,

As part of our ongoing partnership with local law enforcement to maintain a safe, nicotine and drug-free learning environment, New Buffalo Area Schools conducted a planned safety sweep today using trained detection dogs.

We are pleased to report that the sweep was conducted smoothly, with minimal disruption to the school day. We are very pleased to announce that nothing was found in any of the New Buffalo Area Schools.

We will continue to schedule these sweeps throughout the school year to reinforce our commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to keep our schools safe and focused on learning.
